7 members of the Supervisory Board and 8 members of the Management Board will set goals and provide direction for the work of the Union for the next 3 years.
Paweł Chrościcki, CEO of Coty Eastern Europe, has become the new president of the Union. Associated with the cosmetics industry for over a decade, he was active in the Union authorities, first on behalf of Johnson & Johnson, and since 2017 Coty Eastern Europe, alternately serving as a member of the Management Board and chairman of the Supervisory Board.
"The Polish cosmetics industry is a beautiful success story. A phenomenal range of high-quality products, quick implementations, the 5th largest exporter in Europe. We deserve a special place at the table of talks with political decision-makers and to listen to the voices of our entrepreneurs. Stopping the inflation of lawmaking and helping to rationally implement EU directives, constantly ensuring the quality of regulations created based on scientific knowledge and a reliable assessment of their effects in the entire value chain – these are, in my opinion, the most important goals for the next term of office of the Union's authorities," says Paweł Chrościcki, the new president of the Management Board.
The new board will also include Fatih Alpaslan, General Manager Poland & Baltics at Nivea Polska Sp. z o.o., Anna Bieluń, co-owner of BIELUN&BIELUN Sp. z o.o., Katarzyna Furmanek, partner and member of the board of FLOSLEK Sp. z o.o., Valéry Gaucherand, CEO, L’Oréal Poland and Baltic HUB, Grzegorz Glapa, member of the board of Cetes Cosmetics Poland Sp. z o.o., Henryk Orfinger, chairman of the supervisory board of Dr Irena Eris S.A., Wanda Stypułkowska, president of the management board of MPS International Sp. z o.o. and outgoing president of the association, and Bartosz Ziaja, vice president and director of the R&D Division of Ziaja Ltd Zakład Produkcji Leków Sp. z o.o.
The Supervisory Board will be chaired by Karol Szmich, president of Delia Cosmetics, current member of the supervisory board (since 2021). The new composition also includes Ewa Blocher, outgoing chairwoman, president of the management board of Dax Cosmetics Sp. z o.o., Michał Czajka, member of the management board of Dr. MIELE Cosmed Group S.A., Adam Król, vice president of the management board of INGLOT Sp. z o.o., Dariusz Wardencki, president of the management board of Oceanic Sp. z o.o., Krzysztof Wasilewski, owner and vice president of the management board of Orientana Sp. z o.o. Sp. k. and Joanna Zboch, CEO and President of the Management Board of Estee Lauder Companies Central Europe.
