Congratulations to the Union on its 20th Birthday. 20 years in which the Polish cosmetic sector has gone from strength to strength, 20 years in which Poland has taken its rightful place as a major player in European affairs.
Many things have changed (do you remember when none of us had smartphones?) , but some things are constants – like the pleasure our products give to consumers in all walks of life and in all demographics, and the essential role they play in our lives. Our products evolve and innovate over time, but behind them are people to devote their professional skills to making sure that, year in , year out, cosmetics are understood and appreciated by decision makers and other stakeholders– as an engine of economic growth as well as a source of cleanliness, colour and scent.
No association does this better than the Union. Cosmetics Europe has had the privilege of working closely with Blanka and her team over that time, and never more so than in recent years , when the challenges in many respects have become more intense.
So here’s to another 20 years. No doubt many changes are to come, but I think it’s safe to assume that in the next two decades the Polish cosmetics sector and Kosmetyczni PL will still be the example of excellence they are today!
